A little about Mr. Hawkins

I became interested in collecting antiques and items of historic interest at 15, when I saw my uncle's vast Western Historical Collection, which included items owned by Wild Bill Hickock and Buffalo Bill. It still amazes me that anyone can still obtain rare historical collections of American interest. I used to think one could only find such items in a museum, and was dumbfounded by the declined but still sizable volume of historic documents and photographs available out there. To think of all those still to be discovered documents and Americana tid bits excites me and drives me to continue my hobby as a lifelong pursuit. As a collector I appeciate the hobby and respect it beyond the value that a a particular piece is worth. My biggest interest lies in our founding fathers and the period of the great revolution.I specifically enjoy concentrating my personal collection to this area. I thank everyone I have had the pleasure to do bussiness with and I thank them for all their interesting stories.
